Lead Counselor, Bonnie Hanika, has over 25 years of experience in the treatment of chemically dependent individuals and their families. She is a seasoned counselor & case manager; providing education, individual & group sessions. Bonnie creates & implements a Family Program that meets twice weekly throughout the course of treatment that is an asset related to positive change in family communication & relationships. (Research shows this to be an asset in maintaining long-term recovery.) She excels at assisting clients to create a specific & comprehensive discharge plan designed to support ongoing recovery.
An extensive component of her professional expertise includes creating intensive outpatient programs that are maintained in accordance with mandatory accreditation requirements. She has functioned as a Lead Counselor,coordinating four levels of patient care while supervising clinical staff & interns as part of an interdisciplinary team.
She has a long history of team building & cross training staff. Bonnie strongly recognizes the importance of ongoing monitoring of treatment programs as a means of consistently providing the highest level of client & family care.
